This was an assignment for my study. It was fun making 

all those different faces with just one photo. Isn't it weird

how all those photos turned out so different from each

other? Personally, I really like the Shrek, haha! Which

one do you like?

OUTFIT | KEEP YOUR HEELS, HEAD AND STANDARDS HIGH

There is a first time for everything, so here is my first outfit post.

It's in honor of my new blouse and purse. I love the collar and the 

crocheted pattern on the blouse. And the purse.. I just had to have it.

Usually I run away when people try to take pictures of me, but now 

I couldn't, because it was my own idea. I'd just rather stand behind 

a camera ;) But I could get used to it. Well.. Maybe.

INSPIRATION | BLACK AND WHITE COLLECTION

Hi everyone! I have a weakness for everything that's black and white, especially images.
Above you can see my collection of black and white cards. I look in every shop where
they sell postcards, if there are any nice ones that should belong to my collection.

This is a shoot I did with my cousin Irene. The photos look very romantic to me 

and that was also the intention. Therefore, I was very happy with the result!

Making the last photo, we had so much fun, it brings back good memories.

FASHION | SHOOTING FOR JANTASIE

Yesterday I had a shoot with Janneke from Jantasie! It was a rainy day, but luckily

the sun showed herself a couple of times. Perfect, because the shoot was in honor

of her self painted sunglasses with Aztec print!

ART | FREE WORK

Hi! I thought it would be nice to post a few drawings that I made. These sketches were 

not made for an assignment, but just for myself. I like to draw photos or fashion illustrations. 

I'm not drawing very often, but I really want to develop my sketching, so I can make 

my own illustrations.

PHOTOGRAPHY | MAY

When I bought my first camera, I decided to follow a course for beginners. During the course we had to

 photograph all kinds of subjects: architecture, animals, sports, nature, portraits. The last subject hit me the

 most: portraits. I think photographing portraits is the biggest challenge, because people don't stand still. You

 can't just drop a person the way you want and make a photo of it and you can't always take the time you

 need. But all these things make it also more exciting to shoot a portrait. To practice, I asked my friends if 

they wanted to model for me. 

One of my first shoots was with my good friend May. These photos were made last summer. I wanted to

 make pure portraits, but I also wanted to show her character: sweet and joyful.

The photos were made with a Pentax-Km camera and a telephoto lens.

I THINK I JUST MADE A BLOG..

Yes, I did it! And here is my very first post! I would like to use

 this one for a short introduction.

My name is Kirsten and last year I started studying Graphic 

Design & Illustration. I love to design and work with images,

 drawings and typography, but my biggest passion is 

photography. Therefore you can expect a lot of photography on 

my blog. Other subjects that you can expect are art, fashion and 

people and things that inspire me.

I hope that I can inspire you, but I also like to get inspired by

 others, so do not hesitate to leave comments :)
